Welcome to Sun Birds,  our home in the sun.

As an English family holidaying in Florida over many years, we've grown to love the Gulf Coast, having sampled it from Clearwater down to Naples.   However, with some of the best beaches in the US, warm seas, and a myriad of good food and shops, we quickly identified our ideal location as Sarasota.   Also considered to be the Gulf Coast's cultural centre, with two symphony orchestras, an internationally renowned concert centre and a thriving artists community, this is a fantastic area for a family holiday.

Only 50 minutes from Tampa International Airport (and only 15 minutes from Sarasota National Airport), Bradenton is within easy access from the UK and Continental America. 

We have furnished Sun Birds in a style which suits family life.  There is a full range of kitchen and utility appliances - and we've ensured there is that quintessential english requirement: a large tea pot!  The 30' pool is long enough for early morning lengths, and the heated spa very attractive for that early evening sundowner, whilst watching the sun set over the lake.
